Hold On!
When it comes to lifting, a handle really can make all the difference. If you are looking for boxes with handles, what are the options?
Hand Holds
The lowest cost option is to have hand holds cut out of the side of your cardboard box. This is a common feature, especially on larger delivery boxes and food produce trays. The hand holds don’t affect the integrity of the box and still allow boxes to be stacked. There do make the boxes far easier to lift and move. Hand holds also increase the chance that the box and contents will be kept the right way up whilst in transit.
Cardboard Handles
Another option is a box design with an integrated handle. There are a range of design options, but the handle is nearly always a feature of the top panel of the box. This means the box isn’t stackable, but it does make it very easy to lift and carry. Cardboard handles are die cut as part of the box manufacturing process. They are integral to the design and very robust. As such, they can be ideal for heavy box contents including brick sample boxes and wine bottle boxes.
Plastic Handles
Cardboard boxes can be fitted with a number of additional components including plastic handles. Plastic handles can easily be applied to the top of the box (like a brief case) or at the sides. Aylesbury Box Company source plastic handles from Item Products and incorporates them into the design and manufacturing process. Our customers have used boxes with plastic handles for sample cases, retail packaging and presentation boxes.
From bulky deliveries to high quality presentations, our boxes with handles could provide the packaging solution that you are looking for.
