Do you know exactly what you need when you order product packaging?

Aylesbury Box Company was recently contacted to quote for a box for whisky boxes. The design agency provided cutting guides and a box design and they were keen for us to produce a packaging sample. It sounds like a straight forward manufacturing project, so how did we add value?

Printed, Embossed & Foiled Packaging

We took time to discuss the brief and discovered that a graphic element requested by the client involved a complex layering of interlinking patterns in matt and gloss. We were able to suggest a less complicated solution of printing spot gloss over matte black substrate on a transparent background. This option produced the desired results in a more reliable and cost effective way.

In addition to the printing, we were able to provide embossing and foiling elements, in accordance with the brief.

Design Alterations

When the company received the bottles, the dimensions were different to those specified in the cutting guides. We were sent some bottles that could be precisely measured and used to inform the design of the sample boxes.

Client Visit

Before the packaging samples had been prepared, the client requested a visit to our premises. They were keen to ensure that Aylesbury Box Company had the capacity and in-house expertise to effectively manage their product packaging. A visit was arranged and the response was positive:
