Is your Packaging Design Viable?

Have you got a packaging idea that needs developing? Aylesbury Box Company can help!

Packaging Design Challenges

This image is the template for a cardboard cup holder. The designer had been working on an idea for a while, but whilst he was almost there, it wasn’t quite working. With a detailed knowledge of cardboard engineering, we were able to make minor adjustments to the design, resolve the challenges and deliver the desired results.

Affordable Printing

Another company loved the look that was achieved by a foil blocking print. It stamped their company name onto the cardboard packaging to give a printed and embossed finish. The trouble was that this technique extended their packaging budget too far. We were able to show them alternative print solutions. In the selected option, the embossed detail was lost, but a very similar appearance was achieved at a fraction of the cost.

Affordable Packaging Design

We are regularly contacted by companies who have grand ambitions for beautiful packaging. We love these creative ideas, but often the cost of manufacture is too high to be commercially viable. By simplifying the design, or advising on alternative methods, print and materials, we can often find a way to deliver the essence of the concept at an affordable price.

Fulfilling Specific Requirements

Problem solving is often related to function rather than design. Aylesbury Box Company takes time to understand the role of the packaging and advising on how this can best be fulfilled. As a few examples, we:

  • Create custom inserts to hold items securely in place and improve presentation
  • Reinforce packaging for heavy weight items
  • Use die cutting to expose elements of the product or aid safe handling
  • Supply insulating inserts to support the delivery of fresh produce

By addressing the important details, we can take an ‘almost there’ idea through to conclusion.

Resolving Common Issues

If packaging isn’t right, there is a high risk of the product not reaching the consumer in top condition. A high volume of damaged goods can indicate that the packaging isn’t quite fit for purpose. Tell us about the product, storage and delivery requirements and we’ll help to resolve the packaging issue.

In short, make use of our expertise. Aylesbury Box Company can help you to overcome your packaging problems. Let us take one weight off your shoulders!
