Merry Christmas!
Let’s start by celebrating the fantastic team we have here at Aylesbury Box Company. This year they have worked collaboratively to support a growing number of customers and they now deserve a festive break. We’re all looking forward to spending time with friends and family, eating, drinking and being merry.
We’d also like to send the very best wishes to all of our customers. You range from local start up enterprises, to international manufacturing companies and you’ve all contributed to our success. We’re really proud to provide packaging solutions for an extensive range of industries and we look forward to designing and manufacturing for many new businesses in 2018.
A Look Back at 2017
This year has seen some significant changes in our organisation. The largest (quite literally) was the redesign of our factory to accommodate a new machine. Reinforced flooring and a wide load escort were required, but the investment has paid off. It’s extended our capacity and has resulted in orders that we would have previously been unable to fulfil.
Whilst continuing to provide robust cardboard cartons for leading manufacturers, we’ve seen a noticeable increase in demand from e-commerce companies and subscription services through 2017. Shelf ready product packaging has also provided us with opportunities to really get creative with box design, cardboard engineering and printed packaging. We do enjoy a challenge!
The environmental credentials of our corrugated cardboard boxes and production methods have always been a priority. We continue to work to reduce our impact on the environment. We’ve been delighted to work with companies including Pod Point (electric car charging points), Water-to-Go (refillable bottles) and Woolcool (natural, biodegradable packaging insulation) which share our values.
