A recent example was a small run of premium quality printed sleeves to fit previously supplied boxes. This packaging solution was needed for the launch of an exciting new product.

Packaging Solution for HTC Vive Product Launch

HTC Vive are global innovators in smart mobile devices and VR technology, HTC Vive has produced award-winning products and industry firsts since its inception. They contacted us to request packaging for the European press samples of their latest VR headset; the Vive Pro 2. The boxes would need to house the brand-new head-mounted display (HMD), as well as existing accessories such as base stations and controllers.

Aylesbury Box Company had previously manufactured boxes for HTC Europe. In our conversation, we discussed the option of using high-quality branded sleeves to cover these boxes. This would provide a flexible packaging solution that was suitable for their needs.

When the brief came in from HTC Vive, we knew it would be a challenge, but we were keen to fulfil our client’s request. We ensured that we fully understood their requirements, measured the samples and viewed the artwork that had been supplied.

A high-quality print finish was needed. Aylesbury Box Company recommended litho-laminated printed sleeves as the best option for HTC Vive’s requirements. To achieve the brief within the deadline, we needed to work with one of our trusted network of specialists. With careful management of the project, we were able to deliver 100 printed sleeves to HTC Vive within the deadline.
