Back to School Fun!

September marks the return to school and some lucky pupils will discover that exciting new equipment arrived over the summer holidays. Active and Creative Play equipment is now recognised as an important factor in child development, as well as providing back to school fun. But, what was our role in this?

Playground Games

Break times used to be spent in an empty playground. Did you spend hours trying to kick a tennis ball between two coats which were serving as goals? Have you mastered a skipping or clapping game? Or, was your preference to climb trees or make daisy chains on the field?

Aftercare Maintenance Kit Box

Aftercare is where we come into the picture. Pentagon Play was looking for a branded box to provide schools with a basic maintenance kit. So, they approached us for a quote.

With children enjoying back to school fun throughout the week, the equipment is well used. It is designed and installed to provide a durable, easy-to-clean and robust solution. However, regular checks and maintenance keep it at its best for longer. Therefore, the kit box is given to schools following installation, with aftercare instructions and tools.

There was one challenge with this packaging design; the Pentagon Play logo is bright and multicoloured. Whilst it looks great on the website, it bumps up the price of printed packaging. As a result, we firstly suggested using a black version of the logo on a white background. However, this looked a little bland. Therefore, brightness and fun were added with a single-colour splodge on the box. The result is a brand consistent style that is more cost-effective.
