A Run of Custom Boxes

When a local sports and social club wanted custom boxes to keep members on the run, we were happy to deliver. All 500 members of this Buckinghamshire club are serving police officers and police staff and this is reflected in the distinctive blue and white packaging design.

Buckinghamshire Sports Club

Across the country, Police clubs provide an opportunity for members to enjoy sports and keep fit. Some activities are purely for fun, yet teams can also enter regional and national competitions and events. Fixtures include Cricket, Clay Shooting, Track & Field, Golf and Football.

We were contacted by a Buckinghamshire-based Police Sports & Social Club, who wanted custom boxes to deliver well-being gifts. The first packaging order would be used to send a selection of Fuel10K products to 300 club members.

Our contact, Richard, had found us on Google and was keen to work with a local packaging company. The Police focus on improving community cohesion and for Peter, supporting Buckinghamshire business fits in with this goal. Richard was also impressed by the responsive and efficient service he received from Martin.

Reusable Custom Boxes

The Sports & Social Club wanted cost-effective, reusable, custom boxes, printed with their design. For this packaging design, we used a single blue print on white boxes to create the two-colour image and font. Single colour flexographic print can be applied as part of the standard box manufacturing process. As a result, there is minimal price difference between plain and printed packaging.

Which would you prefer to receive? We believe that good print design instantly makes recipients want to keep and reuse packaging and it’s good to know that they are also 100% recyclable.

The boxes also needed to be easy to store and quick to make up. We recommended the 0427 style, a strong, single walled corrugated cardboard postal box with an integral lid. These boxes are supplied flat pack for easy storage and when assembled, tabs on the lid secure it in place.

The Police boxes were a great project to work on and we received a positive response when the order was delivered. We are sure that members will be delighted to receive these boxes, full of goodies, to help keep them up and running.
