Bakery Trays For Breads and Cakes
Bread is the most purchased product in the UK, with approximately 11 million loaves* baked and sold each day. A sandwich is the most widely eaten lunch and you can’t beat a slice of toast with butter as a quick and easy snack. Equally, our consumption of cakes, biscuits and pastries is around 10 million. They offer a tasty treat that satisfies the need for something sweet.
This demand means the ovens are operating before the sun rises, as bakers knead or whisk the ingredients for favoured recipes. These items often need to be transported to bakeries, delis and cafes to keep them stocked up throughout the day. That is where cardboard bakery trays come into play. These robust open boxes include die cut handles for easy lifting and they can be stacked.
We can manufacture bakery trays to your chosen dimensions and they can be branded with a choice of print finishes. As a result, these custom trays can be placed straight onto display, operating as shelf ready packaging.

Butcher Boxes for Meat Orders
So, we know bread and cakes are in demand, but what about meat? As it’s National Butchers Week, there is no better time to find out!
Although it’s less common to have meat and two veg for dinner, 57% of UK main meals still feature a portion of meat.** Chicken is preferred as it is viewed as the most versatile and affordable option. Fingers crossed, it won’t be long until BBQ season, which sees sales rise. Meat is also enjoyed as part of the traditional Sunday roast and favoured for celebratory meals, whether dining in or out.
Heavy duty butcher boxes are required for transporting and delivering joints and cuts of meat to farm shops and markets, restaurants and customers. A turkey, meat selection box or BBQ platter is weighty, so robust packaging is essential.
We manufacture bespoke boxes with integrated handles for easy lifting. These are supplied flatpack and slot together without the need for glue or tape. We can also include an insert in the base of the box, to provide additional cushioning which can collect juices. Alternatively, we manufacture larger boxes with die cut handles and a lid. These are stackable and are usually used as turkey boxes. For either option, we can manufacture to custom dimensions and provide a print finish.

Print Options for Butcher Boxes and Bakery Trays
If you’re looking for printed packaging, the base colour for boxes and trays is either white or kraft brown. Onto this base, the lowest-cost print option is a single or two-colour flexographic design. This could include your company logo, graphic illustration and text or icons. You might choose to include a QR code that links to recipe ideas, cooking instructions or serving suggestions on your website.
Please note; our cardboard packaging is not food-grade safe, so liners are required before placing any food item directly into the box.
