We have always sourced FSC® certified virgin materials and following a rigorous audit in 2021, Aylesbury Box Company achieved FSC® Certification.
Sustainable Packaging
Environmental awareness, consumer influence and industry compliance have made sustainable packaging a top priority. As an eco-friendly UK packaging company, we can contribute to your sustainable supply chain.
With a focus on the circular economy, we optimise recycled and recyclable materials to reduce the demand for raw materials. Our cardboard boxes are typically 80% recycled and 20% virgin fibres, although we can supply 100% recycled packaging.
The resources we use in the production of printed cardboard packaging, such as wood and water, are finite. To achieve FSC® Certification, we had to evidence our responsible use of resources and effective waste minimisation. Our processes reduce offcuts and damaged boxes. In addition, any cardboard waste is separated, collected and recycled, to be made into more boxes!We can print your boxes with icons and information that promote packaging reuse and recycling.We offer water-based inks and even vegan-friendly inks to add graphics, font and form to your packaging. Every decision contributes to achieving sustainable packaging solutions.
