Sales Terms and Conditions
We have worked hard to offer easy to understand sales terms and conditions that avoid the small print. They have a certain formality about them, as you might expect, but we hope they offer clarity.
- Quantities shown on quotations are subject to a manufacturing tolerance of +/- 10%. The delivered quantity will match the invoiced quantity.
- Our default delivery service is on a lorry between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, that will need you to offload with a forklift truck. Your boxes will be strapped to wooden pallets. We have assumed easy road access with any size of lorry, and that we do not need to book in our delivery. We will deliver kerbside. If you need more assistance, please let us know. There may be additional delivery costs, but we will try and keep them to a minimum for you.
- Quotations are for information only. They do not represent a binding contract between us until an order has been submitted by you. We will notify you of our receipt of your order by way of an acknowledgement. We ask you to immediately check that the acknowledgement represents correctly what you want us to do for you and the charges you are expecting. This is an important document and procedure that will enable us to identify problems promptly.
- If you are unsure of what we are making for you, please ask for a drawing or a sample. Failure to approve a drawing or sample means that if the items we deliver are unsuitable, for any reason including size, style, strength or appearance, we will be unable to provide a remake or a credit. Samples are free in most cases, but where significant design work is required before placing an order, we may apply a charge that will be refunded following receipt of your order.
- We will always do whatever we can to meet your requested lead time; however, Aylesbury Box Company will accept no liability for delays in delivery, or any consequential losses which arise from such a delay. The date we specify on our acknowledgement is our target date and may, very occasionally, change. We will inform you promptly if we need to make a change.
- No warranty is given as to the suitability of our packaging for the purpose for which you order it, and we do not accept liability for any damages, howsoever incurred, to any contents that you place into our packaging. To avoid a situation like this, please ask us for a sample and test it. We will offer lots of advice, but the final decision on suitability is yours.
- If you own tools to cut or print your boxes, we will store and repair them at no charge. After three years of not being used, we will dispose of them.
- The legal and beneficial title to the goods shall not pass to the buyer until any and all monies owed to Aylesbury Box Company Limited have been paid in full.
- Upon successful application of a credit account, payment is required 30 days from end of the month of delivery. Please pay promptly. Continual late payments will, unfortunately, result in removal of the credit account.
- Aylesbury Box Company’s terms and conditions of sale cannot be superseded by our client’s terms and conditions unless agreed in writing and signed by a Director of Aylesbury Box Company.
- You might be offered a credit account with a credit limit. If this credit limit is ever exceeded, we will consider increasing your limit. If we are not able to increase your limit, we will raise a pro forma request for payment for additional orders.
